World Egg Day at the University of Manitoba this Friday, October 10

This year’s World Egg Day celebration is focused on students! For students concerned with eating healthy and the cost of groceries, eggs are a great choice for a nutritious study snack, a special brunch on the weekend and an easy supper on busy weeknights.

We’ll be celebrating #WorldEggDay at the University of Manitoba’s University Centre from 10 until 2:30 on Friday, October 10. Look out for farmers and an egg-themed balloon photo op in front of the fireside lounge at University Centre.

Egg farmers will be onsite handing out delicious, FREE mini quiches with recipe cards to students passing by. Ask your burning questions about eggs, learn all about egg farming in Manitoba, answer trivia questions to win a spatula and get delicious new egg-focused recipes – eggs are a nutritious, versatile and affordable protein that can be enjoyed anytime!
